I got on the site the other day and saw a totally different template, and everything! It really ticked me off! I put so much work into this website and somebody screwed it all up! So I'm thinking of deleting www.twifreaks.webs.com some of you may think it is drastic and dramatic but if you knew how much work and time it takes to make a website and get only 65 hits a day and to have somebody screw it up...it hurts, it's VERY upsetting. I've changed my password to the site and to my e-mail account. If the person who changed everything would step up to the plate and take the blame then I would very much appreciate it. Right now I'm iffy on deleting it but right now my head is pointing to delete and don't worry about it anymore. So if you have any ideas who changed it please e-mail me at osuchick576@aol.com. Thank you.

Hi there,
My name is Hana-li and I recently wrote a song for "New Moon" called "If it Kills Me".
I'm working on getting it into the movie now and was wondering if there was a place on your site that you could feature it, if you like it.
I'm a huge "Twilight" fan and would really appreciate the help and support from a fellow fan.
Thanks for your time.

Okay this is epic. I went into Hot Topic today and there was an Edward pajama set! I don't know what the official name is or anything and it's not being sold online just yet. But the top is light blue and sleeveless with a picture of Edward in the center. The pants are basically all black with the word twilight vertically down the right side. It's made out of light material and it's just over $30 (maybe $32.99?). I was so mad that I didn't have my camera! Oh, they also have a new tote with the familiar "I love boys who sparkle" as well as a new shirt that says "I dreamed of Edward Cullen" (with a picture of Edward on it).
Edit: See a pic of them on eBay here.

Taylor Lautner, who portrays Jacob Black in Twilight, spoke with MTV about his role in New Moon and whether or not he'll be replaced as some recent rumors have suggested. Here are a few excerpts:
"I have been working out. I've been working out since the day we finished filming 'Twilight.' I just weighed myself today; I've put on 19 pounds," the noticeably larger Lautner told us, promising that he'll be big enough to fit Stephenie Meyer's physical description of Jacob Black in "New Moon" when cameras begin rolling in 12 weeks. "I'm guaranteeing Weitz 10 more [pounds] by filming. I get to meet Chris on Friday, in two days, so I'm excited. I'm going to have lunch with him."
"I've heard a few things," he said of Copon. "I don't really know too much to comment on it. As far as I know, I haven't been told 'no' yet, so it's still all up in the air."
UPDATE: A video of his interview is now online. Check it out here!

Stephenie has updated her site with the news that Chris Weitz has been confirmed as the director for New Moon. Here's a bit of what she had to say:
I've had the chance to talk to Chris, and I can tell you that he is excited by the story and eager to keep the movie as close to the book as possible. He is also very aware of you, the fans, and wants to keep you all extremely happy. (Torches and pitchforks are not going to be necessary.)
I'm excited to work with Chris and I think he brings a lot to the table, not the least of which for me is that he wrote the screenplay for and directed one of my favorite movies of all time, About a Boy. I'm really looking forward to seeing his vision for New Moon.
She also posted a letter from him, which you can read here. In the letter he says that he has seen Twilight in which he was 'alternately entranced and left hungry for more.' He says he is a fan of Catherine and that he will devote himself to making the very best and most faithful version of New Moon that can brought to the screen.
She also posted some photos from the premiere on her site here.
I've decided to start a fan of the month in the sidebars. Just e-mail me, Lauren, ant osuchick576@aol.com. Tell me why you think you should be our fan of the month. If I think you would be a good fan of the month, I'll e-mail you back with a list of questions then post them in the sidebar! If you want to try, it's worth a shot!

OME IT'S SNOWING OUTSIDE!!! =DDDD! Happy Holidays, everyone!!
The audition information for Eclipse is now online. According to Alan Baltes' website, both New Moon and Eclipse will be filmed back to back. Additionally, he confirmed that Catherine Hardwicke will not direct either New Moon or Eclipse. Filming is to begin in March and continue up until Eclipse is finished.
Summit Entertainment has started preparing the sequel New Moon, based on Stephenie Meyer's second book in the series, and to contain costs, the studio is filming the third book, Eclipse, back to back using the same new director. On Sunday, December 7th, Summit Entertainment confirmed that Catherine Hardwicke will not direct the films New Moon or Eclipse. Filming begins on New Moon in March, 2009, and will continue right through completion of Eclipse.
You can find the audition information for the films here.
It has been confirmed by Summit Entertainment that Catherine Hardwicke will not be directing the next movie in the Twilight Saga, New Moon. They have just sent the following press release to us.
Los Angeles , CA , December 7, 2008 – Summit Entertainment and director Catherine Hardwicke jointly announced today that the filmmaker will not be directing the next installment in the newly minted TWILIGHT film franchise. Summit ’s targeted end of 2009 or early 2010 release of the film, NEW MOON, does not work with Ms. Hardwicke’s required prep time to bring her vision of the film to the big screen. Thus as has been done before with many successful film franchises, the studio will employ a new director for NEW MOON.
"I am sorry that due to timing I will not have the opportunity to direct NEW MOON,” said Hardwicke. “Directing TWILIGHT has been one of the great experiences of my life, and I am grateful to the fans for their passionate support of the film. I wish everyone at Summit the best with the sequel-- it is a great story."
“Catherine did an incredible job in helping us to launch the TWILIGHT franchise and we thank her for all of her efforts and we very much hope to work with her on future Summit projects,” said Erik Feig, Summit ’s President of Production. “We as a studio have a mandate to bring the next installment in the franchise to the big screen in a timely fashion so that fans can get more of Edward, Bella and all of the characters that Stephenie Meyer has created. We are able to pursue an aggressive time frame as we have the luxury of only adapting the novels into screenplays as opposed to having to create a storyline from scratch.”
Hey! It's so good to be back on here! Obviously it hasn't been updated in awhile, I'll get right on it when I get back to my house! Ok so you probably are all wondering where I went....well I was grounded and had a ton of missing assignments, so my mom said I couldn't get on the computer until all my missing assignments were done. (I've had mono for 4 months and haven't been at school)! Yeah and I've just been really sick.
I have seen the movie (4 times) IT'S AMAZING!!! I want to hear your thoughts about it negative or positive i don't care! E-mail me at osuchick576@aol.com with your thoughts, critiques, stuff you didn't like etc...!
So I thought I would get on and tell everyone I'm alright! :)
Hey guys! I just saw this hilarious video--Robert Pattinson (Edward) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) were on the super awesome Tyra Banks show!! The episode is titled "Bite Me Robert".. haha watch this clip from it to see what that's about!
Isn't that funny? I read the youtube comments below the vid, and they ranged from "OMG THATS SOOO HOT" to "disturbing..." hah what do you guys think? Hot or not? I'm not sure..
In other news, Stephenie Meyer did an interview with Entertainment Weekly that I read a little while ago. She talks about her future with Midnight Sun (and it sounds like we're not going to be hearing about that for a while...), her reaction to watching the Twilight movie, and future ideas for books that she has! It was a really good interview, here is an exerpt:
What stories are kicking around in your head?"I'm a little more hesitant to say what I'm working on, though, because people for some reason seem to take that as some kind of contract: ''You said you were working on this so now you have betrayed my trust by not doing it!'' But I'm thinking I'm actually leaning towards the mermaids' story right now. Years ago...I tried to write an epic poem. It was supposed to be, like, ''The Rime of the Ancient Mariner,'' right? And I couldn't make it work, it was horrible. But I loved the story in it. So that has become part of the back story to this one. Some of the characters are mermaids. Though, again, they're not mermaids like you've known mermaids. They're completely different. And I'm not going to use the word ''mermaid'' in the book — they're sirens."
Hm.. well, if she's able to make a book about vampires good, then I bet she make one about mermaids good too! Right? To read the interview, click here. Its interesting, make sure you read it!
Anyway, I'll post some more news later!
~Nyla
I saw Twilight, and I loved it!!! It wasn't exactly like the book, no, but it was still really similar and just plain great!! With all of the attention it has gotten with it's release, and all the MONEY, it's obvious that Summit was going to announce that they were going to make New Moon--and they did! Read this:
Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series titled, "New Moon." The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings. Stephenie Meyer stated, "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON."
Ooo, pretty exciting! Haha I'm sure it's going to be as amazing as this one--especially with a better budget! It was actually pretty obvious that they were going to make the second one after the success of this one--but hey, this is just another reason to celebrate! WOHOO!!!
hehe
Okay, anyway, tell us what you think New Moon is going to be like! Actually, feel free to email us about anything twilight related that you think we might want to put on here. Or anything totally random that you just thought of that you'd like to share. You guys help us bunches! Oh, and remember to vote on Twilight Topsites!!
That's all I've got for now. Peace out!
~Nyla
FINALLY, after YEARS of WAITING, TWILIGHT IS FINALLY OUT!! OMG!!!!
Wow. Okay, deep breath. Amazing, huh?
First of all, I'm not going to pretend I've seen it because I haven't. But Britt and Lauren have! In Lauren's words, it was "AMAZING BEYOND BELIEF" (Caps and all), and Jacob was really hot, which I do not doubt haha! It has gotten pretty mixed reviews--mostly 50/50 from the critics. It got a B- from Eric Snider, which is pretty good! The review is so funny--here's an exerpt:
"Look, I know the drill. If any element of the Twilight movie varies even slightly from the way you pictured it in your head, then it is the worst film ever made and you hate it and Catherine Hardwicke has ruined your childhood. Or, alternatively, you've built up so much anticipation for the movie that you're going to love love LOVE it no matter what, even if it's bad, you don't care, you refuse to listen to any criticisms LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU. I know how it goes."
It's funny because it's SO, SO true.. haha, if you want to read the rest of it (trust me it's hilarious) click here!
Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it a lousy 43%.. hm, those are some moody critics! But I guess you wouldn't feel the magic of it unless you have read the books--the movie will never be as good! Click here to read all the reviews from Rotten Tomatoes!
But remember, the most important reviews are from you guys--so remember to email us and tell us what you thought! Who cares what a grumpy critic says? I'm actually going to watch it today.. hope it ends up as good as I hope it is!
Have fun!
~Nyla
Well, not to the lucky people that are going to watch it then!!! LUCKY ANNA AND BRITT! Ok whatever, I'll stop sulking haha! Just coming back to say that Rotten Tomatoes has already begun posting some reviews of the movie! But not all of them, though, so keep a close eye to see what the movie gets on the infamous tomatometer! Right now it's nearly 50/50.. only three more bad reviews than good. We don't know how it will turn out, though, so keep watching!
I'm seriously wondering what Eric Snider will post on his site! He's probably under a little pressure, being one of Steph's favorite sites.. hehe! Guess we'll have to wait and see that one too!
Here's the link to rottentomatoes, and here's the link for Eric Snider!
Have fun, and remember to tell us what you think of Twilight!!
~Nyla

MTV have posted their Twilight Tuesday, and this time the Twilight stars have answered some of your questions. Here's an excerpt:
Q: "There's a lot of stunt work. Who is the worst at it?" - Wolf23
Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale): I could tell you immediately, but I don't know if that's, like, the nicest thing to say.
Lutz: What?
Reed: He's asking, "Who would you say is the least athletic?" We'll have the same answer.
Lutz: Let's hear yours — go ahead.
Reed: No, let's say, "One, two, three," and then say it.
Reed: One, two, three ...
Lutz and Reed: Rob.
Lutz: Yes! Awesome.
Reed: Rob is the least athletic person.
Lutz: But he runs cute! His running is cute — and I rarely ever say "cute" as a word.
Reed: He runs like a mountain goat.
Lutz: They'll tell me, Emmett, to run in front of him to block him out, so he looks cool.

"We are excited that we've been given the exclusive track list announcement for the Twilight soundtrack (in stores November 4th). - The Black Ghosts — Full Moon
- Linkin Park — Leave Out All The Rest
- MuteMath — Spotlight (Twilight Mix)
- Perry Farrell — Going All The Way (Into The Twilight)
- Collective Soul — Tremble For My Beloved
- Paramore — I Caught Myself
- Blue Foundation — Eyes On Fire
- Rob Pattinson — Never Think
- Iron & Wine — Flightless Bird, American Mouth
- Carter Burwell — Bella's Lullaby

Second, the official movie site (TwilightTheMovie.com) now has a list of international release dates for the movie. So, I am happy to announce that if you click the link above and then click "Worldwide Release Dates" on the menu on the left, you will see all of the dates that have been announced at this point.
I hope everyone has a great day!
